The Liga Metropolitana Fortaleza will be played in two stages and is already set to
become one of the largest amateur competitions in the region. During the group stage, the
12 teams will face each other in a double round-robin format, ensuring balance and a fair
league table.

In the coming days, teams will complete the submission of their official registration lists,
allowing the full squads to be announced.

At the end of the group stage, the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs, where
positions from 1st to 8th placewill be decided. All playoff matches will be played as
single-elimination games, with qualification determined exclusively on the pitch.

This format eliminates random advantages and allows each team to play a significant number of matches, keeping motivation and competitiveness high until the final rounds. The tournament will also feature a total prize pool of BRL 20,000.

Organizers emphasize that the competition structure complies with regional federation standards and follows best practices of amateur tournaments in Brazil.
